Basketball and Aggieland

Just another quick update since I've been bad again :(

Colten's basketball is going good so far, they've won 5 games and lost 2 and Colten has made 1 basket and 1 free throw, so yay Colten. They have one more game this weekend and then no more sports for awhile.

John and I took Ashlyn to Aggieland Saturday this past weekend. It was a lot of fun, she loves the campus and is determined to go there now. She was bummed when she found out that there wasn't any program she could do for EEG tech (kinda didn't think there would be), but we went to a presentation for their visualization program and she has a goal now... she wants to be in the credits of a pixar film!! So we are going to try to help her go there even though we have been hesitant about having her go to college right after high school. We talked to the residence people there and they suggested going through the disability dept to get her in the honors dorm where she would more likely be able to get sleep. We will have to see how that goes I guess. The program is in the Architecture college and is art and technology together. She needs to get a better score on her SAT to be academically accepted to A&M since she's in the top 25% at school (#10 out of 50-something students), so we'll be working on that for her next test in May. One step at a time. And if this doesn't work out, she has her plan b of EEG tech. 

We just signed her up for her classes for SENIOR year yesterday.... ACK!

I am slowly becoming more optimistic about her new meds. She has gone 5 months now without a seizure, when before she didn't go more than 2-3 months between them. March 17th will be 6 months so maybe her doctor will say she can start driving when we go back to see him in April. I hope so. As much as that freaks me out, she needs this.
